In light of social distancing recommendations from the Canadian government and all professional associations I am a member of, I will not be offering face-to-face sessions until further notice.
I have been successfully offering effective, therapeutic, cybercounselling for the past 10 years, and continue to do so in these trying times. The preferred secure videoconferencing platform I use is Vsee; Skype is an alternative, as are telephone sessions.
I understand this is a difficult time for everyone, and I am doing everything in my power to continue to provide the same high-quality care that I always do.
You are not alone. We are all in this together.
Velma brings a warm, compassionate, and hopeful therapeutic stance to her private counselling practice. She employs a holistic (mind, body, and spirit) approach that is equally balanced with a practical strengths-based modality. By forming a safe therapeutic relationship with her clients Velma helps facilitate a healing and growth process that strives to bring relief or resolution to distressing emotions or life situations. Finding effective creative solutions while tapping into clients' inner wisdom enables clients to live fuller and more authentic lives.
